Kundalini Shakti

KUNDALINI SHAKTI & THERE BENEFITS.

Kundalini is a Sanskrit word that means coil. Every human has Kundalini, however, in most humans the Kundalini lies dormant in the perineum, forming a 3½ circles coil. Although most people are not aware that the Kundalini exists, Kundalini is well-known by serious spiritual seekers. Most yoga traditions aim to awaken the Kundalini, because these yoga traditions believe that the Kundalini is the power that is required to attain the ultimate goal of spiritual achievement, the union with divine (Yoga).

Traditionally, it is believed that after being awakened, Kundalini will be able to remove the knots of the major chakras, cleanse, open and develop the chakras until they are fully developed into full-blooming lotus forms. By the time the Kundalini finishes opening, cleansing and developing all of the chakras, the core of the Kundalini will reach the crown chakra, the chakra at the top of the head. This is the time you attain the highest spiritual achievement

Individual experiences of Kundalini process vary considerably.
The basic signs of a Kundalini rising that a person might experience include:

  • feeling different, not fitting in
  • a deep yearning for inner development
  • inner sensations of light, sound, or heat
  • a heightened inner awareness
  • glimpses of bliss
  • feelings of energy flowing or vibrating within
  • special sensitivities, capacities, and talents
  • non-ordinary phenomena
  • spontaneous bodily movements
  • emotional fluctuations
  • atypical sensations
  • an interest in spiritual growth or in metaphysics or the esoteric
  • compassion and a desire to serve others
  • a sense that something non-ordinary, transformative, or holy is
    happening within
  • personal development, and optimally, spiritual transformation
    and realization

  1. Hi,

We got lot of mails asking about Kundalini shakti, some people say that they can awaken kundalini in one go. as per our literature & with my own experience this is not possible. Our Guru can only help us to develop this energy. So we should not look for shortcuts, but we need to practice meditation on regular basis.
I'll post some brief literature on Kundalini shakti very soon.

    OM NAMOH SHIVAY.

  2. Kundalini Shakti is an integral part of Kundalini meditation. It is necessary to invoke Kundalini Shakti that brings power and energy in an individual. The essence of Tantra is purification of the Five Elements that is compulsory to awaken the Kundalini Shakti. This Shakti is considered to be the personal Shakti of a human being. Any spiritual practice in any religion is basically some process of awakening Kundalini, and Kundalini can only be awakened through the elements of one`s body after purification.

Kundalini Shakti loses all concept of individuality and all contact with the body after disintegrating. In an ordinary individual the ego resides at the lower end of the spinal cord because gravity has full power over the ego. If anyone wants to liberate the ego from restrictions the individual must create a force within his body to counteract the force of gravity; this can only be done by strenuous penance. The purpose of all spiritual practices in every religion is to separate the ego from Kundalini Shakti with the limited personality so that the ego may reunite with its persistent personality.
